Do both x.com and twitter.com links work? +
Use a public post link from either domain. The post URL identifies the media; a profile page or search-result link is not a substitute.
Why does a GIF from X download as a video? +
X may serve an animated image as a video file. DLPanda presents the format available from the post. A file ending in .mp4 is a video even if the post calls it a GIF; renaming it to .gif does not convert it.
Can I download images from a post too? +
If the post returns accessible images, the result shows individual image save actions alongside any available video. The files depend on the source post.
Why can’t a protected post be downloaded? +
Protected, deleted, or restricted posts may not expose public media. Confirm that the post is public and still opens, and copy a fresh post link. This tool does not promise access to protected accounts.
